Founded by entrepreneur Joe Altieri, The Braided Soul grew from a simple belief: every product has a story, and every maker deserves to be heard. Joe has a passion for interviewing people, learning what inspires them, and discovering the heart and hands behind their work.

He envisioned a trusted online destination for unique products created by small-town artisans, where shoppers can meet the people behind their purchases through personal video interviews. Every order includes a thoughtfully designed card with a QR code linking directly to the maker’s story and the process behind the product.

Joe knows that creating art takes courage, patience, and perseverance—and that finding an audience can be just as challenging as making something beautiful. The Braided Soul helps bridge that gap, giving independent makers an outlet to share their creations and giving customers a meaningful connection to what they bring home.
